Digital Inclusion Advisor and International Liaison

Dr. Danica Radovanovic is a digital media specialist and senior researcher at the Basic Internet Foundation in Oslo, Norway. She is a PhD Chevening Scholar, Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford, Fulbright Scholar at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a doctorate graduate from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad. She worked as information management and web specialist for the UnitedNations of the FAO on the EthicsWeb FP7 project, was a contributor for the Library of Congress’ (LoC) in DC, for international web portals project, European division, and collaborated with Wikimedia, Global Voices, Scientific American, Index on Censorship, Internet Society, etc. Danica is the author of numerous academic publications, articles in the scientific popular magazines, and participant in many workshops, conferences, and programs related to digital media and digital inclusion. Her work focuses on internet technologies, digital media, digital divide and literacy,the inequalities in the access and use of the internet, and internet governance.
