What We Do
The Basic Internet Foundation engages in projects around the world in the fields of access to internet, education, health care, and women entrepreneurship.

School & Community Connectivity

Connecting schools and communities in underserved areas is our primary focus. Through our unique infrastructure we reach connectivity in areas where "nobody believes that you can receive Internet". Through our local communities we establish information spots ("InfoSpots"), provide access to information and a local school-/community server.

Digital Public Goods

Digital Public Goods (DPGs) are digital products, and the software, data and algorithms that drive them, that serve to educate us, help us thrive in our professional lives, enrich our cultural experiences, and ultimately do good for the benefit of humankind. Examples of these goods exist all around us in the areas of information, education, healthcare, finance, and more. Many also serve to further the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. We focus on the access to the DPGs for every single human.

Our Goal
Free Access To Information For Every Human. To reach this goal, we need three fundamental things.
